We are pleased to share progress from our Keta-Anlo Mangrove Restoration Initiative (KAMRI) project in Ghana’s Volta Region.
Along the fragile coastline of Keta-Anlo in Ghana’s Volta Region, the impacts of mangrove loss are evident. Areas that once served as natural barriers against coastal erosion and vital breeding grounds for marine life have declined over time, placing both ecosystems and local livelihoods at risk.
Through this initiative, we are restoring degraded mangrove landscapes while strengthening the resilience of coastal communities in the face of climate change. Our efforts contribute to improved biodiversity, enhanced natural coastal protection, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for local residents.
This video provides a glimpse into our work on the ground and reflects our commitment to community-driven climate solutions in Ghana. We believe that restoring ecosystems today is key to securing a resilient and sustainable future for both people and nature.
