Dr Theo is a highly accomplished professional in sustainable development with a prestigious PhD from the University College of London. He holds multiple master’s degrees in environmental fields from renowned UK universities, complemented by a BSc in Development Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. As the Executive Director of Friends of the Earth-Ghana and Vice Chair of Friends of the Earth – International, Theo has led over one hundred projects, including fourteen restoration initiatives in Ghana. His expertise in fundraising, environmental impact assessment, organizational development, and research has furthered environmental preservation, and he actively contributes to national and international environmental committees. With a wealth of experience in project management and administration, Theo is committed to making a significant impact in sustainable development and creating a greener, more sustainable world.
Nehemiah has a Master’s in Environmental Science from KNUST. He has led Friends of the Earth-Ghana’s forestry and biodiversity programme for over 10 years, managing multiple international projects and representing the organization globally. Skilled in project management, community engagement, sustainable/inclusive forest governance, and ecological restoration, he drives impactful environmental initiatives.
Mary is a Bachelor of Science degree holder in Natural Resources Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She is passionate about biodiversity conversations, pollination ecology, environmental education and field research. Mary is currently the communications officer and has represented Friends of the Earth Ghana within the African continent on several occasions.
Prince holds a Bachelor of science degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.And has worked as a Field/Discrepant Officer at the Cocoa sector. He is currently the Project Officer for Friends of the Earth’s(Ghana) Keta Anlo Mangrove Restoration Initiative (KAMRI). Prince is energetic and passionate about helping local communities to protect natural resources and to sustain their livelihoods.
